Dar Al-Maaref Books

One of the oldest and most renowned publishing and printing institutions in Egypt and the Arab world. Founded in 1890 by the Lebanese Najib Mitri in Cairo, it began as a commercial printing press on Al-Faggala Street before evolving into a major cultural institution. It has enriched the Arabic library with thousands of publications in literature, heritage, science, and general culture, and is considered an integral part of the Arab cultural memory.
