Peter H. Reynolds Books
The Dot My name is Peter Reynolds, a Canadian-American writer and illustrator, born in 1961. I am the founder of FableVision, an educational storytelling company. I am best known for my 2003 book, *The Dot*, an inspiring story about a girl named Vashti who discovered her talent for drawing with a simple dot. My style focuses on creativity, courage, and self-confidence, and my books are used in schools to encourage children to try. Some of my most famous works include *Ish*, *Sky Color*, and *The Word Collector*, all of which follow the same message of *The Dot*—start with a small step. My twin brother, Paul, and I founded *The Blue Bunny* bookstore and the Reynolds Center for Creative Education. I live in Massachusetts with my family.
