Younes Al-Didi Books

Dr. Younes Didi is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Ain Chock, Hassan II University in Casablanca, and an academic researcher specializing in sociolinguistics and discourse analysis. His academic achievements include co-authoring and publishing two edited volumes on modern poetry and cultural engineering: «Cultural Engineering» and a book about the poet Abdellah Zrika. On the creative and international front, his science fiction story, «The Memory Dealer of Old Jeddah» was published in the Futures section of the prestigious journal *Nature* on April 24, 2026. Dr. Younes is deeply involved in writing, editing, and publishing children's and young adult literature. His work has been published in the leading magazine *Al-Arabi Al-Saghir*, and he has enriched children's literature with distinctive narrative texts, including «The Restorer of Broken Words», «The Little Bear Feels Cold» and «Not My Place» His career in writing for young adults has culminated in the manuscript of his novel «The Alley of the Sieve» reaching the longlist for the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction so far.
