My first children's book, *Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!*, was published in 2003, for which I received the Caldecotte Medal of Honor. I created beloved characters such as Elephant & Piggie and Knuffle Bunny. I have received three Caldecotte Medals of Honor, two Theodore Seuss Geisel Awards, and six Emmy Awards.
