Mohammed Kasbar Books

Mohamed Kasbar is a playwright, novelist, and children's comic book writer. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a member of the selection committee for the Alexandria Short Film Festival. He received a grant from the Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafi Foundation for a novel for adults, which is still in progress. His works for adults include: the novel (Susu Baba) the novel (In the Realm of the Hero, We Had Our Days), the play (Al-Mayasa and Al-Miqdad), and the novel (The Journey of So-and-So in Barcelona). He also has works in the field of children's literature, including: the story (Shush, This Is a Secret), the story (The New Visitor), the story (Where Are You, Sa'doun?) and the play (The Lion's Covenant). He has received numerous international and local awards, including the Arab Theatre Authority Award in Sharjah twice for his plays for children, (The Guardian's Sword) and (Mandour and the Enchanted Pen). He also won the Alaa Jaber Award for Best Play for Adults for his play (The Oasis), the Taha Hussein Award for Published Novels for (In the Realm of the Hero, We Had Our Days), and most recently, the Sharjah Award at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival for his story (Shush, This Is a Secret).
